Welcome Dinner Fundraiser
Our Welcome Dinner on Saturday 13th March was just so moving. Thank you for your generosity and love. We raised about $13,000 to go towards the next group of men released in Melbourne. Thanks to each and every one of you who made this special night possible and for caring about the lives of refugees!
"It was an honour to host the Welcome Dinner at Coburg Town Hal in Moreland," said Councillor Annalivia Carli Hannan - Mayor of Moreland.
"We stand in solidarity in the fight for no detention, permanent residency and family reunions."
"It was a fantastic dinner and thank you to everyone who attended, organised the event and in particular the founder of Refugee Voices Ahmad Hakim."
